It wasn't that she didn't trust Maria. It was just...well...it was nice having something that was just hers. Danielle had sworn to share everything with the Palmer family, and she'd lived up to that promise. And certainly, she hadn't had any privacy growing up. Not with dad living that Spartan life and Shawn being...well...Shawn.
This was new and strange and wonderful.
